Regular Visits to the Vet Keep Pets Healthy Longer
Just as annual visits to the doctor are important for people, routine veterinary care is critical to the long-term health of your pet.

Your veterinarian's familiarity with your pet, routine blood panels and health screens, along with regular weigh-ins, listening to the heart and lungs, and examing ears, eyes and even the pads of your pet's paws can help keep him in tip-top shape.

Your wellness exam will include a full physical exam, any necessary vaccinations, heartworm program, flea/tick program, dental evaluation and any necessary bloodwork.  Dr. Davis will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Roane Veterinary Hospital for service.

You can use this comparison chart to calculate your dog's approximate age in human years.

Please bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think will be important.  Dr. Davis can work with whatever information you have to share.
